with the pain of broken streets that’s been cracked
but forgiveness and moving on is how its finally packed
courage to love is a way you start fresh
forget all the tears and fears and painful stress
you have a courage to love when you face yourself.
a time to fight with a straight right and sleep well at night
smile with peace from ear to ear and hurting cheeks
a great feeling with God willing and a feeling that’s chilling
allow me to say things that i would not say
but I can love again to my last day.
